| Western states' climate laws: the cost of inaction |

| If Western states don't substantially reduce greenhouse gas emissions, they could face billions of dollars in health care and other related costs by 2020, according to reports by economists for the University of Oregon's Climate Leadership Initiative's Program on Climate Economics. Washington, Oregon and New Mexico will probably face associated annual costs of $3.8 billion, $3.3 billion and $3.2 billion by 2020, respectively, if they don't rein in greenhouse gas emissions, logging and other factors that drive climate change, according to reports released Monday. |

Using green and eco friendly products is not a luxury anymore it has become a way of life. Green products have been around since the beginning of time and were used quite often, but as the human race became accustomed to modern technology and the convience of a new idea we put ourselves in danger. To think that almost every women on this planet uses makeup on thier face, and the ingredients in them are not governed for toxicity, we have been cancerous producing chemicals on our eyes, cheeks, and lips. The clothes we wear contain chemicals if seen in thier original container have poison symbols on them. Yet everyday we get up and put these clothes on. It take 1/3 of a pound of chemicals to produce on T-shirt start to finish for you to buy. Mother Earth is dying and since we have neglected her it is time for her to heal. One person can make a difference no matter how small or big they start. Becoming aware is the first step. Mother Earth will not heal over night, and the struggle to keep the human race thriving will be a battle, I am up for the challenge how about you?
